CLAT 2022 Guidelines with CLAT Result
CLAT is conducted for admissions to the law programmes at the prestigious National Law Universities in India. On behalf of NLUs, the Consortium of NLUs conducts the Common Law Entrance Exam for admissions to Undergraduate and Postgraduate law programmes offered at the 22 NLUs and other private universities.
In a recent notification shared by the Consortium of NLUs, CLAT 2022 exam date has been revised. CLAT 2022 will now be conducted on 19 June 2022, for which the registrations have been extended till 9 May 2022. For more information and the latest updates for CLAT 2022, keep reading.

CLAT Application Form
The online application for CLAT 2022 began on 1 January 2022 for admissions to UG & PG programmes. After the recent notification released by the Consortium of NLUs, the registration date has been revised and extended till 9 May 2022.
Steps to fill CLAT 2022 Application Form
Step – 1: Register for CLAT by providing your name, email ID and mobile number.
Step – 2: After registration, log in to your account using the registration ID and fill in the required sections. Provide your personal, academic and other important information.
Step – 3: Once you have provided all the required details, upload the scanned copies of your photograph, signature and other required documents. Candidates must follow the size and image format as mentioned below –

Step – 4: Proceed by filling in other required details and share your preferences for NLUs in the application form.
Step – 5: Review and edit the application form, if required and submit the application form by paying the required fees. Candidates must note that you can edit the form once the form is submitted.

CLAT 2022 Result
CLAT 2022 will be conducted on 19 June 2022. After the successful conduct of the exam, the Consortium will announce the result. After the CLAT result has been announced, the answer key will be released following the release of the consolidated merit list. Also, a counselling invite will be issued within a few weeks of result declaration, which will mark the start of registrations for the counselling process.
Steps to check CLAT Result
- Candidates can access the result from the official website –consortiumofnlus.ac.in and click on the CLAT 2022 result link.
- After opening the link, log in with your mobile number and password.
- Now you can click on ‘View Result’.
- Your CLAT result will be displayed on the screen.
- You can download the result and take a printout for future use.
Once the candidates have accessed the CLAT results, they must participate in the CLAT centralised counselling process. By participating in the counselling process, candidates can get admission to their chosen National Law Universities.
